Ponastar

ponastar.jpg

Ponastar  an active ingredient and is a biological control agent for use on several minor crops to treat a variety of plant diseases and fungal pathogens including gray mold, powdery mildew, early and late blight, bacterial spot, and walnut blight. Ponastar is ubiquitous bacteria commonly found in various ecological niches including soil, water and air which do not have a history of pathogenicity from contact in the environment.

Ponastar is a biological control agent, Microbial Fungicide. The bacterium is prevalent in soils and has been found in a variety of habitats worldwide.  Ponastaris known to be antagonistic toward many fungal plant pathogens. This antagonism may be achieved in several ways including nutrient competition, site exclusion, colonization and attachment of the bacteria to the fungal pathogen. In addition, there are reports that these strains helps to induce plants' natural systemic resistance or systemic acquired resistance (SAR) against bacterial pathogens. These bacteria can stop plant pathogen spores from germinating, disrupt germ tube growth and inhibit attachment of the plant pathogen to the leaf.
Ponastar can be used on cherry, cucurbits, grapes, hops, leafy vegetables (except Brassica), peanuts, peppers, potatoes, tomatoes and other horticultural crops as well as paddy and wheat.

Ponastar is having an excellent control on Downy mildew, Gray mold, Early Blight, Late Blight,Bacterial spot,Walnut blight, Powdery mildew, soil borne diseases & Seed borne diseases while used for seed treatment.

Usage & Dosage:
Ponastar is a powder formulation and available in 300 grams packing.
Soil Application: 2 to 4.5 Kgs of Ponastar per acre (rate varies depending on crop & number of applications). Ponastar can be used 3 grams per Kg as coco peat mixing for Nursery.
Foliar Spray: Spray 3 Grams of Ponastar per liter of clean water evenly on targeted crop in evening hours. Repeat the spray in every 20 days intervals.
Seed Treatment: Use 10-25 Grams of Ponastar per kg of seed.

Benefits:
Ponastar is a biological Control Agent.
Ponastar is safe for Human beings, Plants & Environment.
Ponastar is an economy product & can be used on all the crops

Kaushik

KAUSHIK is used in control of rust, powdery mildew, cercospora and brown spot. It is a Bio control agent.

KAUSHIK is a broad spectrum product for the control or suppression of many important plant diseases and is an excellent fit in disease control programs of both conventional and organic production. KAUSHIK adds value to all programs by providing the additional benefits of resistance management, short 4 hour re-entry intervals, compatibility with other products, no residue restrictions for export, and safety to beneficial insects.

KAUSHIK produces an antifungal compound & that disrupts cell metabolism and destroys cell walls, leading to the destruction of the cell and death of the plant pathogen. KAUSHIK also creates a zone of inhibition on plant surfaces, preventing pathogens from establishing on the plant. This novel mode of action not only creates an effective fungicide, but also makes it very difficult for diseases to develop resistance. KAUSHIK is therefore an important tool for growers in areas where resistance to conventional products has developed and it will help to prevent the development of resistant pathogens.

KAUSHIK Bio control agent provides excellent control of downy and powdery mildews and rusts and has a good fit in resistance management programs where growers are looking for performance and value. KAUSHIK's 15-day activity makes it an effective and economical biological partner in disease control programs. Based on a naturally occurring strain developed by Ponalab in Technical Collaboration with Carlsbad Biosystems, USA & funded by Government of India under National Horticulture Mission and can be applied in both conventional and organic disease control programs. KAUSHIK performance has been confirmed through efficacy field trials in high value specialty fruit and vegetable crops.

It provides:
15 days control on powdery mildew
Biological, novel mode of action
Resistance management tool

KAUSHIK can be combined with and complements standard disease control programs. It is a powder formulation and is compatible with products such as copper, sulfur and other foliar-applied micronutrients, insecticides and fungicides. KAUSHIK is also compatible with use of non-penetrating, non-ionic products such as silicon surfactants. Its zero-day pre harvest interval makes KAUSHIK an excellent tool for late season disease problems, right up to and including the day of harvest. KAUSHIK is exempt from the requirements of a residue tolerance, helping growers meet "clean" food standards established by independent Scientific Certification Systems & also an exported crop treated with KAUSHIK is not subject to Codex import requirements. KAUSHIK is compatible with IPM programs. It is non-toxic to beneficial insects, mites, bees and other non-target organisms.

KAUSHIK is a powder formulation and available in 300 gms packing. KAUSHIK can be used in organic production; KAUSHIK will meet the rule for use on organically produced crop.

Usage:  Dilute 2-3 Grams of KAUSHIK per liter of water and spray evenly on any standing crop which is suffering from above mentioned problems. Repeat the procedure after every 20 days.

Benefits:
KAUSHIK’s efficacy, biological nature, spectrum of activity, compatibility and mode of action make it an ideal tank-mix or rotational partner in a disease management program. It can be used prior to harvest without leaving unsightly deposits on fruit and foliage. Besides its safety to humans, plants and the environment, KAUSHIK is safe to beneficial insects and mites, thus fitting well into biologically-based pest management programs.
