Fertilizers – can’t live with them and can’t live without.
This statement was quite true in the early years of the greed revolution that followed the green revolution. A situation brought upon farmers by themselves with the excessive use of fertilizers. The key was soil nitrification. All nitrogenous fertilizers are good for plants. But there are a few villains underground. Organisms that nitrify ammoniacal and other nitrogenous compounds into oxides of nitrogen No2. This oxide of Nitrogen coming in contact with water forms Nitric Acid, reducing the pH of the soil, turning it dead in about 10 to 15 harvests.
This did not go down with us well at all. At Ponalab, we believe that anything that causes ultimate dismay is something that needs to be redone. No, we didn’t invent bio-fertilizers but definitely championed them and pioneered their manufacture.
Some of our products include
